session The session screen is the “heart” of the coaching session. Both the coach and the client can use this window independently to take their notes during the coaching session. In addition to your session notes, you can refer to the prep questions and responses for the session as well as track action items. Later on, you can review these notes as you prepare preparation questions for the next session. The view shown here includes a couple of features that only the coach will see, but both the coach and the client are able to take private notes for the session as well as ones viewable to each other.

      Weekly scrums are going well, the team is glad we started them.

  2. What's not working?

    • NextGen Leader:

      The team's status report form is far too complex, we'll need to simplify it. It's not getting filled out completely, and sometimes not at all.

  3. What are you learning?

    • NextGen Leader:

      I'm learning to lean more on my team - they're a great help, and having learned their individual strengths means I know where to delegate for the best result.

  4. What needs to change?

    • NextGen Leader:

      I know I need to delegate more. I've gotten better, but I still have a ways to go. I can tell when I'm stressed, 9 times out of 10 I'm doing too many things that I should have passed on to the team.

  5. What do you want to focus on during our time together?

    • NextGen Leader:

      With my new promotion, I start a new position in six weeks, so I need to focus on preparing for that. I meet the new team next week, so at least I'll know who I'm working with ahead of time.
